Landco Lifestyle Ventures Caps a Weekend of Sportsmanship and Connection at the LLV Golf Invitational

Landco Lifestyle Ventures (LLV) recently gathered partners, patrons, and friends of the brand at the historic John Hay Golf Club for the LLV Golf Invitational , a weekend that affirmed what the company has long believed: that the best relationships, like the best rounds, are built one deliberate stroke at a time.

The Invitational unfolded as a true weekend experience rather than a single-day tournament. Guests were welcomed the evening prior with arrival cocktails at The 19th T at the Forest Wing of John Hay Hotels, where the crisp Baguio air and easy conversation set the tone for the days ahead. Tournament day followed on the fairways of John Hay Golf Club,  one of the country’s most storied courses, where players competed in a spirit of camaraderie befitting the setting.

Adding a note of anticipation was the tournament’s marquee hole-in-one prize: a residence at The Nautilus, Landco Pacific’s multi-awarded beachfront condominium at CaSoBē in Calatagan, Batangas. The weekend concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the day’s champions and celebrating the community that has grown around LLV’s portfolio of leisure destinations.

“We can be as good as we want to be, but sometimes great work takes great partners, and the LLV Invitational is our way of recognizing that, spending real, unhurried time with the people who make our great work possible”, said Erickson Y. Manzano, CEO of Landco Lifestyle Ventures.

“It’s also good business: a weekend at John Hay lets us catch up and reconnect away from the boardroom, and it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like the life we’re always trying to build for our clients. That’s Life on Vacation.”

The day’s top individual honors went to Adones Baluyut , who carded the Lowest Gross with an even-par 72, winning by countback on holes 16 to 18, and Luisito Basit, who claimed the Lowest Net at 65.

Regulars Class A was topped by Edison Go , followed by Kevin Enciso as First Runner-Up and Andrew Ambatali  as Second Runner-Up.

Regulars Class B produced the tightest finish of the day, with all three podium places settled at net 69. Jaime Pisawen emerged Champion on 2 birdies, edging First Runner-Up Patrick Hipol by 1 birdie, while Manjit Singh Reandi took Second Runner-Up on 6 pars.

Regulars Class C was swept by Bryan Patrick Tan as Champion at net 68, Darwin Chan as First Runner-Up at net 69, and Hans Perez as Second Runner-Up at net 70.

In the Seniors Division, Mayor Benjamin Magalong  claimed the Championship at net 67, winning by eight pars over First Runner-Up Gerardo Aguado, also at net 67, with Noel Flores as Second Runner-Up at net 68.

The Ladies Division crown went to Micah Go at net 68, with Winnie Lou Espiritu as First Runner-Up, winning by eight pars over Second Runner-Up Fretzie Jaudian, both at net 69.

Bragging rights for the day’s special holes went to Adones Baluyut for the Longest Putt at 10 yards, Paul Co  for Nearest to the Pin at 73 inches, Dan Patrick Yang for the Longest Drive at 310 yards, and Consuelo Fe Cielo Dumlao for the Most Accurate Drive — landing squarely on the line.

Guests were hosted at John Hay Hotels, the tournament’s Official Hotel Residence, whose Garden Wing and Forest Wing offered players a restful base a few minutes away from the course.

The LLV Golf Invitational was made possible through the generous support of its partners: Boysen as Gold Sponsor; Kuysen as Silver Sponsor; BPI Institutional Banking and Maynilad as Bronze Sponsors; with the support of Metro Pacific WaterMetro Pacific Tollways Corporation, and Maya; and Cignal as Media Partner.

The Invitational opens a busy season for LLV, with previews of its multi-awarded coastal residences to follow: The Spinnaker in San Juan, Laiya; The Nautilus in Calatagan; and The Residences at Terrazas de Punta Fuego in Nasugbu — each an invitation to a life on vacation.
