Penny Pairs started as a bedroom dream in Alabang back in 2019. Founder Camille Jimenez-Sandico struggled to find jewelry for her work events, especially with her sensitive skin. Most affordable options gave her a rash instantly, while fine jewelry alternatives were out of budget. Thus, Penny Pairs was born: affordable, high quality jewelry made for sensitive skin.
Fast forward five years, the brand opened its 6th store not 15 minutes away from where it all began. “It feels so surreal to have a space in the mall that I, and so many of our team members, grew up in,” shares Camille, “So much has changed since then. So many fond childhood memories were made here, and now, we’re so thankful to be a part of new ones for our community.”
The store is located in the building beside the iconic Corte de las Palmas, near Mark and Spencer’s. It’s a spot that promises to blend seamlessly into the beloved surroundings of Alabang Town Center. Thoughtfully made with terracotta tiles, the brand pays a warm homage to the mall’s original design, which holds a special place in the hearts of locals. While other Penny Pairs locations feature a nuder palette, the brand’s first south branch is dotted in pink, bringing a nostalgic touch that’s both refreshing and comforting.
