GM Patrick Manthe’s arrival on the breathtaking Boracay island brings fresh inspiration to the property and its team members. In addition to his long track record in leadership in the hospitality industry, his passion for arts and other creative forms aims to elevate Crimson Boracay’s brand spirit to be one of the most vibrant and culturally exciting destinations of Chroma Hospitality. “I look forward to building upon the Crimson brand that is both bold and expressive, while creating unique experiences and activities that engages all five senses for our guests and the community.”
Born and raised in the Alpine town of Chur in Switzerland, he completed a higher diploma in Hotel Management from Swiss School Hotel and Tourism Management. His knowledge, leadership and management skills were honed for over 20 years, taking part in different dynamic roles. Prior to joining Crimson Resort and Spa, GM Patrick Manthe served as the General Manager of several properties in Thailand such as the Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, U Sathorn Bangkok, Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok, and at Fusion Alya Resort Hoi An in Vietnam. He also contributed to the success of well-established international hotel brands in Maldives, Australia, Germany and Switzerland.
Apart from his hospitality profession, he expanded his creative journey by exploring new cultures around the world and expressing his artistic work through sculptures, paintings, paper collages and photography. Recently arrived in the Philippines, GM Patrick Manthe uses art mostly as a form of relaxation and reflection.
