Allianz PNB Life (AZPNBL) marked a decade of serving Filipino families at a media briefing themed “From Promise to Proof,” showcasing how its commitment to securing the future of Filipino families continues to translate into meaningful results through business growth, customer trust, innovative solutions, and community impact.
At the heart of AZPNBL’s success is the trust Filipino families continue to place in the company. Reflecting this trust and the strength of its growth strategy, AZPNBL ranked third in the Philippine life insurance industry in terms of consolidated New Business Annual Premium Equivalent (NBAPE) in the first half of 2026, according to the latest Insurance Commission data. The company recorded Php4.59 billion in NBAPE, a key measure of new business sales, representing a 98% increase year-on-year.
The company also expanded its customer base, with momentum driven in part by the strength of AZPNBL’s bancassurance partnership with Philippine National Bank (PNB). The company expanded its network of Financial Solutions Specialists (FSS) with almost 500 FSS serving more customers across PNB branches nationwide. The broader distribution footprint helped AZPNBL connect with more Filipino families and make financial protection and wealth-building solutions more accessible where customers need them most.
“For 10 years, we have worked to earn the trust of Filipino families by helping protect what matters most to them,” said Joe Gross, President and Chief Executive Officer of AZPNBL. “Our strong first-half performance and continued customer growth are proof that our purpose continues to resonate. For us, growth is not just a business result. It is proof that more Filipino families trust Allianz PNB Life to help secure what matters most. That trust inspires us to keep delivering solutions and partnerships that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.”
Looking ahead, Gross said AZPNBL will continue broadening its reach through simple, relevant, and affordable solutions while enhancing customer experience and strengthening its distribution capabilities to create sustainable long-term value.
Helping families grow and protect their future
One of the clearest proof points of AZPNBL’s commitment is the introduction of Allianz Secure Save, an insurance and savings solution designed to help Filipino breadwinners achieve important life goals while protecting the people who depend on them.
Allianz Secure Save enables customers to grow their money through professionally managed investments while benefiting from life insurance protection. By directing more of each premium into investments earlier and rewarding long-term commitment through applicable bonuses, the solution helps customers build financial security for milestones such as a child’s education, retirement, or long-term family goals.
The plan also makes protection more accessible through a Guaranteed Issue Offer and flexible 5-pay and 10-pay premium payment options.
Beyond helping customers accumulate wealth, Allianz Secure Save helps ensure that the future they are building remains protected. Should the insured pass away unexpectedly, the life insurance benefit can help loved ones continue pursuing the goals and aspirations that matter most.
Extending resilience beyond the household
AZPNBL also emphasized that its business and sustainability agenda are rooted in the same purpose: building resilience. Through insurance, the company helps families prepare financially. Through sustainability partnerships, it extends that commitment to communities facing broader social and environmental risks.
“Insurance and sustainability share the same goal: building resilience,” said Zanne Magararu, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief of Staff of AZPNBL. “Through our products, we help families prepare financially and protect the future they are working hard to build. Through our partnerships, we strengthen resilience where it matters most. Together, these are proof points of our commitment to helping Filipino families become more resilient and more Panatag, whether through financial protection, greater opportunities, or stronger community preparedness.”
Two flagship initiatives exemplify this shared-value approach:
MoveNow: Supporting Young Single Mothers, Shaping Futures
Implemented in partnership with Bahay Tuluyan, the program empowers vulnerable young single mothers through employability training, financial literacy, life skills development, parenting support, childcare assistance, and psychosocial services. By helping participants become more financially independent, the initiative creates better opportunities for both mothers and their children.
Project Talaghay
Through its partnership with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), AZPNBL helps strengthen disaster preparedness and climate resilience in vulnerable communities. The initiative supports risk awareness, early warning systems, local capacity-building, and community-led action that enables families and communities to prepare for and respond to disasters more effectively.
The media briefing also featured sustainability partners Catherine Scerri, Executive Director of Bahay Tuluyan, and Rene “Butch” Meily, President of PDRF, who joined a fireside discussion on building resilience through opportunity, preparedness, and cross-sector collaboration.
Building a more Panatag future
By combining financial protection, long-term savings, financial empowerment, and community preparedness, AZPNBL continues to turn its purpose into proof, helping families address today’s needs while preparing for tomorrow’s challenges.
As it enters its next decade, AZPNBL remains committed to turning its purpose into action and its promise into proof, helping more Filipino families live more Panatag every day.
