Epson Southeast Asia invites entries for The 17th Epson International Pano Awards 2026

Epson announced the call for entries for the 17th Epson International Pano Awards, the world’s largest competition dedicated to the art of panoramic photography. Continuing its close partnership with The Pano Awards as a major sponsor, Epson Southeast Asia is proud to champion panoramic photographers across the region and around the globe.

Entries for the 2026 competition are now open, with early‑bird submissions accepted until 22 June 2026 and final entries due by 13 July 2026. The competition welcomes both professional and amateur photographers worldwide to submit images in a panoramic format, with a minimum aspect ratio of 2:1 in either landscape or portrait orientation. 

2026 Awards Debut Aerial Category and More than US$50,000 in Prizes

This year’s awards introduce a new Aerial category in both the Open and Amateur competitions, reflecting the growing creative possibilities of drone and aerial imaging in panoramic photography. Alongside the Aerial category, the 17thEpson International Pano Awards will again feature Nature and Landscape, Built Environment and Architecture, and VR/360 divisions, providing photographers with multiple ways to showcase their technical skill and visual storytelling. The 2026 prize pool is valued at more than US$50,000, including US$15,000 in cash and a prize package for the overall Open winner that exceeds US$11,000 in cash and products.

Since its inception in 2010, The Epson International Pano Awards has grown into a landmark event for panoramic photographers worldwide, and drew over 3,000 entries from 95 countries in 2025. In recent years, participation from Asia, and particularly from Southeast Asia, has continued to increase, highlighting the depth of talent emerging from the region.

“I’m always delighted when I can officially announce that professional and amateur photographers around the world are now invited to enter the next Epson International Pano Awards. I can also announce that there is a new Aerial category in the Open and Amateur competitions, if you enter five or more images at once during the early bird period you save 20% and you’ll also be in the running to win the $1000 curator’s award,” says David Evans, The Epson International Pano Awards’ Curator.

The judging panel for The 2026 Pano Awards includes some of the world’s top photographers and industry professionals, including Bill Bailey, Aaron Spence, Dan Zafra, Jacky Lee, Daniel Kordan, Abe Blair, Annette Mossbacher and Jennifer Renwick amongst others.
