Juan Carlos Guanzon is a 39-year-old Cebu based independent artist. He had previously worked as a Science Communicator in the UAE, Brunei, and Indonesia, but as COVID spread, he found himself back in the Philippines. He and his wife Catherine, who is also an artist and art enthusiast, decided to paint again, and despite having no idea how to market their paintings, he claimed that they were divinely guided by God, who gave them the talents and allowed them to use them in a positive and respectful manner. “Don’t stop exploring and keep moving,” he always tells himself.
They draw a variety of subjects such as sea views, nature, realistic, Dutch pouring, text style, portraits, and cubism abstract paintings. Their artworks are priced between P3,500.00 and P6,000.00. The majority of their clients are schools, doctors, and collectors. They work with acrylic on canvas and oil on canvas.
