Philippines’ First Global Child Prodigy Awardee, Aaron Antonio, is One of International School Manila’s Filipino Scholars

​In a ceremony held in Dubai, Aaron Antonio was named asthe Philippines’ first ever Global Child Prodigy awardee in the Intelligence category. The event brought together the top 100 prodigies from all over the world, each of whom is exceptional in their respective divisions of sports, academics, language,entertainment, and social work, among others.

Antonio earned the award having received over a hundred recognitions in local and international competitions in Science, Mathematics, English, Robotics, and Critical Thinking in just two years. All these on top of his valedictory finish in grade school and decorated with special accolades including leadership and communication.

This year, Aaron Antonio is chosen as one of International School Manila’s (ISM) newest batch of Filipino scholars who will start his IB curriculum journey in August of 2023 until he finishes senior high school grade 12 in 2028. 

Antonio was previously a merit scholar from De La Salle University Integrated School and Philippine Science High School Main Campus. 

Each year, ISM selects top five Filipino students to become its Filipino scholars for the year. The ISM scholarship is one of the country’s most sought-after programs given the value and scope of the grant.
