Some 300 artworks – all the work of students at Manila’s Vanguard Academy – went on show on Monday at the renowned LRI Design Plaza in Nicanor Garcia Street, Makati City.
The Academy stages an exhibition of its students’ art every year. This year’s show – dubbed ‘Bukod-Tangi’ – features mixed media, photographs and digital artworks. The show runs until March 24 and is open daily from 10am to 5pm. Entrance is free.
All pieces are for sale with proceeds going to the Bahay Aruga – a free halfway house in Manila for children with cancer.
The Vanguard Academy, located on EDSA in Guadalupe Viejo, Makati City, is a school where students of all abilities follow a relevant and robust curriculum that is individualized to meet students’ specific needs, unique goals and pathways. For students with a wide range of special education needs, intervention and allied health services are provided by highly qualified therapists.
