
Two 15 year-old football players from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Javier Cuadra and Jebb Salceda, have been selected to play in the U16 Philippine team for the 2022 ASEAN Football Federation which kicked off on July 31 in Indonesia.
Javier is a second year student at the University of St. La Salle. He’s the son of Mr. and Mrs Mike Songo Cuadra of Jesusa Heights in Bacolod City. He’s been playing for Jesusa FC 07 football team since elementary school. He will play as a defender in the national team.
Jebb Salceda will be the national team’s goal goalkeeper.
Both passed the screening test is Manila which was participated in by some 108 players from all parts of the country.
