In my younger days, games were played and enjoyed with friends in the streets. We used to play hide and seek, patintero, tumbang preso, from morning till dawn. The breaks would be meal times and afternoon nap (because you wouldn’t be allowed to play if you don’t take a nap).
When playing outside was not possible, we would play the family computer, board games, playing cards or game and watch. My favorite game in family computer is Galaga. I would play it with my dad. Another favorite was Tetris. I remember having a Tetris game console as a gift and the LED was still black and white then.
At present, I still play Tetris but using my smartphone now. Good thing is there is Tetra Blocks available at https://plays.org/ that made it possible. Bringing back memories of childhoold days, I still enjoy it and get nervous everytime the blocks are falling faster as you go to the next level. The same feels and excitement but improved since I am now enjoying it in full color not in black and white.
