Free vitamins, same day medicine delivery from HealthNow to help keep Pinoys healthy

HealthNow is offering free vitamins and same-day delivery of medicines nationwide to keep Filipinos safe from COVID-19 while incidents of virus infections in the country remain high.

HealthNow customers enjoy instant delivery of both over-the-counter and prescription medicines if bought before 5 pm so that they can take their medication promptly. Senior citizens and persons with disabilities are also entitled to discounts on pharmacy orders as provided by law.

Those who buy medicines online via the all-in-one healthtech app are entitled to free Vitamin C courtesy of Generika Drugstore until August 31, 2021.  On top of that, users will be able to enjoy waived shipping fees for a limited-time period, no minimum spend required.

“As Filipinos continue to embrace new ways of getting their life essentials, our main goal in HealthNow is to ensure people have access to the right care they need in a tap. We know that part of the care journey is being able to take the proper medication and supplements to support one’s well-being. HealthNow makes it easy for users to buy what they need from the pharmacy without leaving their homes,” said Susana Beatriz Latay, HealthNow Chief Executive Officer.

HealthNow is jointly owned by Globe Telecom’s 917Ventures and AC Health. With support from Generika, it now offers medicine delivery in Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan, Tarlac, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu City, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, and Zamboanga.

“We’re proud of our partnership with Generika that allows us to cover major cities nationwide and offer a wide assortment of pharmacy items. We envision to expand to more locations and partners to give our customers the best options for their health,” Latay said.

Since its launch during the height of the pandemic almost a year ago, HealthNow already has more than 400,000 app users and 600 healthcare providers nationwide as acceptance of contactless health consultations and transactions continue to grow.

HealthNow provides freedom of choice and flexibility to its users who are given options to consult with a doctor anytime via video calls.  Members can also ask for an e-prescription or an e-medical certificate through the app.

Later this year, patients can easily book appointments, diagnostic tests and even have their lab results interpreted online.

HealthNow is available in PlayStore for Android and App Store for iOS.
