AYALA MALLS SPOTLIGHTS HOMEGROWN DELICACIES AT KAIN NA! FOOD AND TRAVEL FESTIVAL

Ayala Malls continues to support local culinary through Kain Na!—an annual food and travel festival organized by the Department of Tourism. Along with members of the Philippine Tour Operators Association Inc. (PHILTOA) and the food tourism consortium, the event launched at MarQuee Mall to spotlight delicacies from Ilocos Region, Soccsksargen, MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, Central Luzon, and Cordillera Administrative Region.

Kain Na! will also run on multiple months this year at Ayala Malls, including August at Ayala Center Cebu, October at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and December at Abreeza Mall.

The opening ceremony was led by (from L to R) MarQuee Mall General Manager Peachy Atendido; Regional Field Office III Department of Agriculture Chief of Agribusiness & Marketing Assistance Division Fernando Lorenzo; City Government of Angeles Councilor JC Aguas; Department of Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat; Ayala Malls Area Head – North and Head of Ancillary Business Charmaine Bauzon; Department of Tourism Assistant Secretary for Product & Market Development Verna Buensuceso; Central Luzon Regional Director Carolina Uy; and CAR Regional Director Jovita Ganongan.

The merchants present at the launch of Kain Na! were Cosmic Farm, DOT Cordillera Administrative Region, Pangasinan Entreprenuer Development Association Inc., Philexport, Sasmuan Local Products, Wil-Fel’s Delicacies, Farmers Joy, Yamang Bukid Healthy Products Inc., Aleli’s Pastries, Apag Marangle/Cusina Manuela, Tollhouse, My Lola Nor’s Meryendahan, Grann Garden Shop, RV De Dios Food Manufacturing, Kaka Association Incorporation, Florida-Lubao Organic Farmers Association, Uma Verde Econature Farm Inc., Cafe Linang By Linang Ni LK, Merl’s Native Delicacies, Rejano’s Bakery, Kablon Farms, and Elynne’s Pasalubong Market.
