This year marks Donny Pangilinan’s third year of creating music with Universal Records as he renewed his contract last April 17, 2021.
Present during the contract signing that was held via Zoom were Donny Pangilinan, Talent Business Consultant Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, Talent Manager Anthony Pangilinan, Operations Head Joey Misolas, Universal Records’ Marketing Manager Jhofer Eleria and Managing Director Kathleen Dy-Go.
Apart from his boy-next-door charisma that has constantly made him the talk of the town, he has been hitting the Twitter’s trending topics countless times which goes to show that Donny indeed has a lot to offer.
In 2019, he was nominated as the New Movie Actor of the Year for the movie “Walwal”. He’s also one of the official endorsers of Smart, Kumu and a Brand Ambassador to Adidas. Other than his various hosting stints, vlogs, movies, TV shows and product endorsements, Donny has been creating pop ballads since he signed under Universal Records back in 2017, thereon having been nominated for various awards. He released his single “Green Light” in 2018 which ranked #5 on iTunes PH Chart and his self-titled debut EP the following year.
Donny Pangilinan is known to explore ventures that will test his strengths and will allow him to discover more about himself. His much-awaited iWant series with co-star Belle Mariano entitled “He’s Into Her” is set to release this May. This year has so much in store for this young artist as he continues to make exciting collaborations with notable artists for his upcoming singles and projects.
