As it continues to provide jobs that matter during these unprecedented times, leading online job portal JobStreet launches its first-ever interactive Virtual Career Fair for 2021, happening on February 17 to 21, with more than 55,000 jobs available from different industries across the country.
Some of the job roles available are IT Software Specialist, Digital Marketer, Sales Executive, System Analyst, Customer Service Representative, Financial Consultant, ESL Teacher, Accountant, Engineer, IT Developer, HR Staff, and HR Manager.
Candidates can also apply for Office Administrator, Dispatcher, Merchandiser, Warehouse Staff, Quality Assurance Staff, and more.
Among the hiring companies include BDO, Mercedez Benz Group, LBC Express, Yamaha Philippines, Universal Robina Corporation, Aboitiz Construction, Converge, 51 Talk, Accenture, TaskUs, Nestle, and many more.
“Millions of Filipinos have lost their jobs last year since the pandemic, and JobStreet embarks on a mission to help Filipinos rebuild the economy by amplifying our commitment to being a career and talent partner this 2021,” said JobStreet Country Manager Philip Gioca.
Aside from thousands of career opportunities, the Virtual Career Fair also features live chats and on-the-spot interviews with HR representatives from participating employers. A chatbot will pre-screen questions and answers to filter potential candidates, and a Live Chat Control Platform will allow hirers to have direct conversations with multiple candidates.
Hiring companies will have their respective virtual booths where they can showcase multimedia content for jobseekers to explore and navigate.
In addition, candidates will have access to JobStreet Facebook Live events wherein financial and mental health experts will be discussing relevant labor matters to the audience. This is in line with JobStreet’s dedication to providing valuable support to job seekers amid the situation.
JobStreet partnered with government agencies to help candidates with their service-related queries. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) will have their own virtual booths in the Virtual Career Fair to accommodate concerns and questions from candidates via chat.
“During the lockdown, we’ve faced a lot of challenging times, and this year is everyone’s chance to look for opportunities and rebuild themselves. We encourage jobseekers to join and submit their applications to as many companies as they want during the Virtual Career Fair on February 17 to 21,” added Gioca.
The Virtual Career Fair is now open for pre-registration through the JobStreet microsite. Visit to register.
