Strokes and heart attacks are sudden health conditions that can occur suddenly and require immediate medical attention. These result from lack of blood flow to critical body parts. When there is a blood clot (a blockage in blood flow) in the brain, one experiences a stroke, whereas a heart attack is caused when there is an obstruction of blood flow to the heart.
